Roger Dize Seafood is an online store based out of a small community on the Eastern Shore in Fairmount, Maryland. We are known for being one of the very few existing fishing & crabbing communities that still have working boats and shanties. Here, at Roger Dize Seafood we make it our goal to bring fresh Chesapeake Bay seafood to you. Everything that we catch here in the Chesapeake Bay has been hand selected for our consumers. Our crabs, fish and oysters are straight from the Bay to your table.
Roger is a 3rd generation commercial fisherman. We are one of the very few seafood companies that actually catch and ship Chesapeake seafood. We specialize in packaging the freshest seafood for our customers. Each package is handled individually with care and personally placed in insulated boxes. Freshness is guaranteed!
Our team, here at Roger Dize Seafood, collectively has over 150 years experience in commercial fisheries and the fresh seafood industry.
Belinda Hall (affectionately known as "B") has been involved in some form or another in the seafood industry for a major part of her life. Her Grandfather/Father/Uncles and Brother were all waterman, commercial fishermen, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. From starting age 10 she worked alongside her uncle and brother for several years during crabbing season on The Zennora Anne. B has been right alongside of Roger helping put up oysters, fish fillets, fishing up floats for soft crabs, cleaning soft crabs and even help with the rigging of crab pots every now and then. Her favorite is going rod fishing when time allows. The life of a waterwoman is nothing new for this Eastern Shore Native Girl.
Belinda has been a key team member here at Roger Dize Seafood for many years. Belinda has been kind enough to share some of her families, “Good Ole Eastern Shore Cooking”, recipes with us.
